Theme Pack for Windows 7: Birds
I love birds so I decided to make a theme pack with some high resolution wallpapers. I got most of them from interfacelift.com, a FANTASTIC wallpaper / photography website. Even if you don’t like birds you will find a wallpaper there that suits your fancy.
You need Windows 7 to install this. Most of the photos are 1920×1080 and so appear best on a widescreen monitor.
Theme Pack for Windows 7: Life of Jesus Christ
It’s a little late for Easter, but I decided to throw this theme pack together mainly using images from the Gospel Art Book made available by the LDS church. I simply used Windows Live Photo Gallery to crop the images to 16:9. If you know where I can find more high-resolution artwork of Christ and his life, please let me know! I’m always on the lookout for more images to add.
Update 6/17/2009: I have updated the theme pack; it seems I didn’t crop one of the photos. Please note this is optimized for 16:9 displays (widescreen) and will work great with 16:10.
Windows 7 Beta on Acer Aspire One Install
I got the Beta of Windows 7 the other day, and after hearing reports that Windows 7 is more netbook friendly, I decided to try it out. I’m installing it on my Aspire One I’ve modded to 1.5GB RAM and bluetooth.
Step 0: Obtain the Software Get Windows 7 Beta here. It may not be available for long, and if that’s the case and you are familiar with torrents, you can try downloading it from isohunt.com. Once you have the .iso file and a key (all the torrents I found had a key you can use to activate), you’re ready to continue. Try searching on btdig.com
